Even though the tools, software and support now make this easier than it has ever been before, there’s still work involved if you want the laptop lifestyle!

I figured building a laptop lifestyle was going to be easy! I made a couple of large ticket sales quite quickly and since then I was hooked. But I still had a lot to learn about building a laptop lifestyle. Luckily I’ve had the patience to keep going when it got tough, and to overcome the barriers to learning the skills needed to progress with a lifestyle business.
The tools, systems and strategies are in place to make building an online business much easier than was possible only a few years ago. Using a digital business system, affiliate marketing products and a marketing strategy, anyone can learn how to sell products over the internet and work from anywhere.
Laptop Lifestyle Business – Can I Do It?
The real questions is can you do it? Yes you can! You can access an online business system and build contacts within the community to help you overcome any mental and technical hurdles to succeed with an online business. Many of the main hurdles for me were mental rather than physical. Everyone has some programming they need to overcome in order to succeed with an online business. This is why The SFM built an online community and offer personal training within their business system.
Am I Too Old?
There are people of many ages within the online community. Whatever age you are isn’t a barrier, unless you think it is! There’s people of 65+ in this business who are building successful businesses.
I Have No Technical Knowledge
The SFM business system has eliminated much of the technical side of building an online business. There are resources and help available for anyone who needs it too.
Many of the software packages within the back office can help you with the technical things which are needed and much of the actual building of things has been made easier with software and programs which remove 90% of the technical obstacles to things like: building a website, setting up a sales funnel, generating landing pages etc.
Laptop Lifestyle Business – Nuts & Bolts
So, what’s actually involved in building a lifestyle business? A lifestyle business is built on automation and scale. You must remember that you’ve got the opportunity to sell multiple products to a global audience.
Don’t think so small! Think big! Initially, you’ll work through the modules in the back office, building up your website and sales funnel. You can choose which products to purchase to put in your ‘digital store’. When that’s done, you can turn your attention to marketing. This is the ‘engine’ of your online business. With marketing, you can choose which direction you’d like to go in.
Ideally use a marketing strategy which suits you and which you can scale up. The best marketing strategies are those which can be scaled more easily and quickly. If you can’t do this, you can also use content marketing to build a following. However, this will be much slower than using paid marketing.
Training & Education
The training and education program offered by The SFM covers everything you would need to build a growing online business. Overcoming procrastination, mindsets for success, technical issues and marketing dilemmas can all be worked through with the various training, community and resources available through the back office and SFM community.
This is really a very valuable resource. Building an online business isn’t for the faint hearted! At first, I didn’t know what I was doing with marketing. Over time though, I’ve learned how marketing works better and this has helped me move my online business forwards.
